ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator/Manager to join our nimble, passionate team to support the documentary slate of one of our major streaming clients. This role is perfect for someone who loves Entertainment and Pop Culture, thrives in a high-paced environment, and brings a passion to social media management. As a key collaborator between clients, filmmakers/producers, and internal teams, you’ll help bring campaigns to life — balancing strategic thinking, creative intuition, and hands-on community management — all while joining a growing agency with big ambitions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage multiple social calendars and campaign process documents
Develop social asset ideas for upcoming documentaries
Negotiate and secure social collabs with client and filmmaker teams
Produce social plans and calendars for documentary film releases
Source ideas and work with a content producer to make assets
Provide community engagement support
Identifying micro-influencers and social communities to help amplify social campaigns
Drafting social copy for social assets
REQUIREMENTS
2-4 years of social media & community management experience within your career journey (client or agency side)
A passion for identifying and storytelling internet trends
Ability to craft a social voice with copywriting experience
Experience in client communications (written and verbal)
Experience contributing to Community Management deliverables
A passion for Documentaries, Entertainment, Pop Culture, and Trends
Flexibility in serving various roles in a growing agency, with a willingness to also contribute with Insight Development, Social Strategy, Creative Ideation, etc.
Willingness to be part of and grow within a small company with big ambitions
Ability to travel for client and project-related needs (estimated 3-4 times annually)
